winter visit
An amazing thing has happened today. My parents have agreed to have Christian come visit for a few days over winter break. As in, actually spend the night in their house. Of course, we'll have to do the old-fashioned, Dick van Dyke sleeping-in-separate-rooms thing in order to keep up appearances, but that's a minor matter. The important thing is that they'll actually get to meet him! I've been so happy this whole evening.
