funding interview

Just had my interview for funding for San Antonio. It was weird, because I was interviewed by an undergrad. He didn't have too many questions, and I think that he may have come to the conclusion that I don't actually need the money. Stupid me, when he asked me how I would pay for it if I didn't get the money from them, I told them this one possibility, which is there, but it is one I wasn't realistically going to use for this purpose. I told him why I wouldn't want to use it, but I didn't say that I wouldn't use it. I could kick myself, because he probably doesn't realize the significance of saving that money for going to a conference to promote my thesis. Ugh.

I hear back in less than two weeks. I've got my fingers crossed.
