After Christian left Saturday morning, I went to the farmer's market, had a relaxed breakfast, tinkered around on the internet and then ran errands in the afternoon. I ended up having so many things pop up before leaving for France that I ended up leaving rather frantically for the airport with a lot of things undone. I brought Carmen to my parents' house in NJ. I drove Christian to the airport this morning. He's off for a month to Mexico. I know it's not that long of a trip compared to previous times he's gone, but it still feels like a long time, mainly because I'll be home alone during that period without a structured work schedule to keep me busy. Our stay in Buffalo was far more low-key than usual. We only had a couple planned dinners with people since it's not the holidays so everyone was busy during the week.
