To anyone who gets this joke: you are just as big of a geek as me. ^_^ (To anyone who doesn't, sorry.)

This woman today said that she shouldn't have to pay a no-show fee because she hadn't had insurance at the time of the appointment. She hadn't actually cancelled the appointment, mind you, or even called to tell us that she had no insurance. She just assumed that since she had no insurance, we would a) automatically psychically know this, and b) cancel the appointment without checking with her that she wanted to cancel it rather than coming in and paying for the visit out of pocket. And I was trying to explain to her that yes, had we known she didn't have insurance and didn't wish to pay out of pocket, we would have cancelled the appointment, but since she didn't actually call to cancel it, it didn't matter.

And what I really wanted to say was, "But you didn't actually *say* that you were casting the spell, so now there's ogres, okay?!"
