I've been meaning to do a sum-up post for a while now. Mostly it's lost of diss work, with occasional breaks for revising articles or whatnot. Cassie is rather obsessed with rocks. Some of you may not be aware at this point that she's been collecting rocks for over a year, and once we let her know that a rock scientist is called a "geologist" she decided that's what she's going to be when she grows up. I had to pick Cassie up at school today and drop her off at daycare because our DCP's mother, who is her assistant, had a doctor's appointment and she was shorthanded. There's something about a 2-month-old that means I'm less likely to be able to sit down and type with two hands than I am with a newborn. It's probably due to the fact that he's more awake and interactive, and more insistent that he needs to eat NOW! than he used to be. So, after about a week and a half, I've got my car back. I'm a little bummed I didn't have a camera on me to record the original damage. As I said before, the left headlight was all smashed up (inside its casing), the whole left side back to the beginning of my driver's side door was also smashed up, and the hood had crumpled.
