Ok, so we missed the battle yet again. But there was a lake! It was pretty! And twilatee and I took tons and tons of pictures. I wore my black silk dress (looking through old pictures yesterday made me want to wear it again!), but I only hooked the top hook. This is what happens when the wind knocks the venti caramel macchiato off the top of the car and hits you square in the back. Ten sips! I had about ten sips! I am doomed to not finishing Starbucks at a reenactment, though in all fairness, yesterday I just randomly for probably the first time ever didn't finish mine.

Let's see, finished the bonnet (at last!) bought earrings, bought a brooch that broke as soon as I got home but was very easy to fix, bought two pairs of new gloves, was disappointed that the tintype photographer wasn't there (why!?) and had an overall relaxing time.
