I'm pleased to report I've had much more successful millinery attempts tonight!
I decided to pleat the ribbon and top it off with a bow. Just knife pleats with one stitch down the center.
Just my existing organdy cap with ribbon basted in between the ruffles and tied in a bow.
All the fluff that isn't in the dress but is in me seems to have come out in this hat. I really didn't think it'd be this cupcake like, but I love it :)
The rim is wired so I can flatten it for travel and perk it up again when needed :)
