Last night I had trouble sleeping and right when I felt I was finally going to be able to drift off to sleep I heard an owl outside my window. Since I was too tired to get my little laptop I counted the hoots and the timing and finally feel asleep. At work we are watching the BBC DVD set of Planet Earth. Since the store is usually noisy, we can't hear the sound well. But we can certainly see the photography! Wow! O_O Totally stunning! I am hoping I can borrow it from the library to watch. ^_ ( Read more... )

How cool! Well another bit of wildlife to add to the list of area where I live! ^_^ So far we have seen raccoons, squirrels, plenty of birds, skunks, hawks, frogs, baby moles, and now a groundhog! So cool! The other day while I was getting lunch ready for my grandfather I saw a hawk sitting on the railing of our deck! I was able to grab a pic of it! *grin* It was watching a squirrel eating at a feeder that is also on the deck. *chuckle* I got its pic too! I uploaded both to my DeviantArt account.
