Bored... so... KITTIES!
It's been a while since I posted anything so I thought I'd post kitty pictures. I don't have that many on my computer because my camera battery doesn't seem to like to hold a charge so every time my cats are doing something cute my camera decides it doesn't want to work. Seems to be the way life works huh?
First up is Mai Tai who will be seventeen in February.

Mai Tai sleeping on HIS pillow. This pillow actually is his, but occasionally he likes to try and steal mine when I'm sleeping. There seems to be a theme going here, right? Mai Tai asleep... he IS nearly seventeen.
And finally, Mai Tai with his eyes open for once! Sitting at the top of the stairs.
This is why I don't normally take pictures of him with his eyes open. It is nearly impossible to get a picture without his eyes glowing. He's go such pretty blue eyes, but you can never see them in pictures.
Then the second oldest is MY kitty, Ankh. She's six years old and she's my baby.

The third youngest is the two and a half year old Ozzy. He's a monster and likes to torment Ankh.
This is really the best, recent picture I have of him. He's being the "Evil Step Kitty". As you can see he's nearly the same color as the carpet. And he loves to lay RIGHT THERE on the first step. Imagine trying to walk downstairs when it's dark or you're half asleep. I've nearly fallen down the stairs several times because of him.
And the youngest is Anubis. He's about a year and a half old.

Don't let those pictures fool you, that cat is FAT. He weighs at least fifteen pounds.
So yeah, thems my kitties. Well.. Ankh is the only one that's actually mine. Mai Tai belongs to my mother, Ozzy belongs to my father, and Anubis belongs to Ozzy.
That's a long story, but the short of it is that Ozzy had a brother that we adopted as well. His brother died of Feline AIDS and Ozzy go REAL mean and nasty afterwards... so we adopted Anubis in the hopes that he'd bond with Anubis and it would ease some of Ozzy's depression/anger issues.... it worked for the most part. Ozzy still has a mean streak, but he's not exactly violent anymore. His mean streak is more... mischievous now... but try telling that to Ankh.
She got the brunt of Ozzy's anger after Mik died so she starts growling at him if he gets less than ten feet away from her... but Mai Tai was the one who was actually injured by Ozzy. Ozzy apparently bit or scratched his butt and we didn't realize it until it got infected and had to be lanced. Mom and Dad were really worried about Mai Tai thinking his age might be his downfall, but he pulled through just fine.
Anyway... like I said.. thems my kitties... now I think I'm going to bed.
