Potato 2016.08 - Shimekake Ryuya & Nakada Hiroki Parts (+ All Members Favorite Summer Girl)
I realized after starting on Potato that Wink Up from this month would be muuch faster to translate, so I'll probably do that instead of doing every member's parts from this. Too many bug kanji that I have to look up ^^; But I did translate everyones ideal summer outfit combination for girls, so enjoy these ridiculous boys' opinions on that lol ♡

It’s the so-called “ocean effect”; at the ocean you can see all the cute people wearing bikinis (laugh).
There’s a lot of nature in the countryside in my hometown, so when I was a kid I would often go out and catch rhinoceros beetles. Since that’s the case, you would definitely expect to also see fireflies but… I have no memories of that (laugh). If I had to appeal to a girl like a courting firefly then… First, I would probably earnestly try to get in their line of sight. Then, I’d get closer whenever I could, and make a lot of attempts at conversation; anyways, I think I’d take a very easy-to-understand approach. Because if it’s the person I’m interested in, I don’t want to let anyone else take her. The people around who are watching would probably realize right away “That girl is being aimed for” (laugh). Speaking of the most mysterious spectacle I’ve seen up ‘till now, it would be the time when I snorkeled in the ocean. It was incredibly pretty, and being with all the fish gave me this sensation of wonder. A mysterious person would be, after all, Johnny-san (laugh). I wonder what it’s like inside the head of someone who was brought up so many talents- just that makes me curious. A mysterious girl? I probably wouldn’t like that. I think a person who is easy to understand and straightforwardly declares their intentions is good.
[Recent State] Practicing songs, dance, and acrobatics every day. I’m especially putting my best effort into songs. Not just normally practicing, but also imagining what kind of cool performance would go along to the music of the artists I like.

Close to the house in Okinawa that I lived in as a little kid, there was a nature park where you could observe fireflies. Every year I went there with my family, so watching fireflies was a family tradition of mine. There was a place where masses of fireflies would fly across the sky, and their soft, dim lights would flicker on and off… It was that kind of light. Rather than walking around illuminations somewhere, that soft light has more meaning to me. Speaking of a firefly’s courtship behavior, if I had a girl I liked, I would also want to appeal and shine from the inside too! I would probably have my friends help me out, and do little subdued things that are out of style to get closer to her (laugh). Specifically like holding the door and waiting for her, carrying her heavy bags… Those are the only things that come to mind right now, but I would continuously do those kinds of small kindnesses. If that was my glittering aura then that would be the best (laugh). A sempai that I think is mysterious is Miyata (Toshiya)-kun. One time I saw his profile for some magazine, and for his birthdate and hometown he wrote something like “I won’t tell you. Because I want to become a mysterious man.” So now I’ve somehow started thinking he’s mysterious~ (laugh). But I do think that a curiosity-seeking role suits Miyata-kun!
[Recent State] The upcoming Summer Stage is born out of our reflections of Johnny’s Ginza 2016, and full of new things we want to challenge. Personally I want to be able to land a round-off back pike flip.
