Duet 2016.08 - Travis Japan Pair Crosstalks [Theme: Summer Ocean & Ideal Date]
Hope everyone is doing well~ I bring you yet another Travis Japan crosstalk, but this time its paired crosstalks (Excluding Aran as he wasn't with TraJa in this issue ^^;). Miyachika's date idea is hilarious xD
Couple notes: Kaji's hometown is Okayama, which is why its mentioned, and when Noeru says "marlin" he's talking about that fish with the scary pointy long nose xD.

Shimekake Ryuya x Nakamura Kaito
Question 1: Speaking of the “summer ocean”?
Ryuya: We drove to the beach two years ago during the summer right?
Kaito: We did! Shime had just gotten his license, so his driving was super clumsy (laugh).
Ryuya: Thinking that the ocean would be crowded if we didn’t leave early, we all gathered together at 5am. But, then we ended up having the whole thing to ourselves because no one was there.
Kaito: That’s right! It felt like our own private reservation. We were able to go swimming with all our might so it was fun. This year I’m going to invite Aran out to go surfing. Do you want to go too, Shime?
Ryuya: I think it’d be cool to be able to surf but… Kaito, will you teach me?
Kaito: I’m not good at teaching (laugh).
Ryuya: Ahaha! I also want to do a barbeque.
Kaito: Actually, I’m not a huge fan of barbeques. I’m always worried that the meat didn’t get fully cooked, so I can’t eat it full-heartedly.
Ryuya: Did you have such a methodical personality? But your room doesn’t have a clean image… (laugh).
Kaito: My room is filthy (laugh). First, I can’t throw things away. Wouldn’t you hate to get rid of clothes, and then want to wear it?
Ryuya: No, that’s bad! You have to be prepared to endure the regret, because if you don’t declutter, then everything will never be in proper order.
Kaito: I don’t want to~! I don’t want to regret~! (laugh).
Question 2: If you went to the ocean for a date with a girl?
Ryuya: If I went to the ocean with a girl, I would want to play to our hearts content! I want to ride a banana boat.
Kaito: Don’t you have to use a lot of strength to stay on a banana boat? If you don’t hold on properly you’ll get thrown off! Wouldn’t that be dangerous for a girl?
Ryuya: Is that so? But, even if we both fell off, since it’s a date it would be fun! (laugh).
Kaito: I want to try living in a cottage on the water.
Ryuya: living there!?
Kaito: Yeah. Then every day would feel like a resort. But it might be hard to leave from the house (laugh).
Nakada Hiroki x Kajiyama Asahi
Question 1: Speaking of the “summer ocean”?
Hiroki: We both grew up by the ocean, so leave it to us to have fun there! I’m from Okinawa, so ever since I was little I’ve been riding boats and seeing fish.
Asahi: The Okinawan ocean is beautiful right. I would often go fishing from the breakwater. But, when I go fishing, I get extremely tan!
Hiroki: Have you been snorkeling?
Asahi: Around elementary school, I made goggles from a tree, and I tried it. But, they started to crack, so a hilarious amount of water got in them.
Hiroki: Of course that would happen (laugh). This is the first time I’ve heard of someone making goggles from a tree!
Question 2: If you went to the ocean for a date with a girl?
Hiroki: Rather than going on a date, I want Kaji to show me around Okayama.
Asahi: Sure. If you come to Okayama, I want to introduce you to my grandma! Whenever Travis Japan appears in Duet, my grandma always rips out our page and sleeps while holding it to her chest. Isn’t that adorable? But, the way she rips it out is messy so my face ends up being torn off (laugh).
Hiroki: That defeats the purpose right!
Asahi: That’s not true. She always points at Nakada-kun’s face and asks, “This is you right?” so it’s alright (laugh).
Hiroki: Because we look a little alike right! Today we’re wearing a pair look, so people might not be able to tell the difference you know?
Asahi: Ahaha. Maybe. Okayama’s ocean has a lot of places to explore. Like the caves on the beaches, cliffs… If I went on a date with my girlfriend there, I would make a campfire for her. I would split the firewood, and then start the fire from the beginning like that.
Hiroki: What would you do about food?
Asahi: I would cook the yellowtail that I just caught for her.
Hiroki: So wild~. But, if your first date was going to the ocean, splitting firewood, and catching yellowtail, she would definitely fall in love with you!
Asahi: It would become an unforgettable date, without a doubt! (laugh)
Morita Myuto x Miyachika Kaito
Question 1: Speaking of the “summer ocean”?
Miyachika: Last year, Myuto-kun drove us to the ocean right? I remember being happy that you invited me.
Myuto: That’s right. But, that wasn’t during the summer right?
Miyachika: Yeah. Because Myuto-kun doesn’t really like ocean water right. It’s true that because ocean water is salty, I don’t really like it either (laugh).
Myuto: Exactly. I dislike that feeling of the saltiness sticking to you. And whats more, even if you shower when you get out of the ocean, if you walk around the sandy beach then your legs will definitely get sand stuck all over them right? If it’s going to have that much sand, then I’m team river instead!
Miyachika: Ahaha. Rivers are nice right.
Question 2: If you went to the ocean for a date with a girl?
Myuto: We’d both put yukatas on, and do something like fireworks in the vicinity of the ocean. That kind of situation is really romantic right.
Miyachika: That’s good. You would do fireworks with just the two of you?
Myuto: No, I have a proper ideal for that scene. We would go to the ocean with everyone, but in a place a little separated from the group, her and I would do fireworks. After a little while, everyone would say “Come back over here~” and call us, and I would say, “alright let’s go over there” to her, then I want to offer her my hand! Isn’t it good, like a youth drama?
Miyachika: Nice~. I would want to take her to a sandy beach and then lay around together and sleep, and get tanned. We’d put each other’s name seals on our stomachs, so that when we got tan our names would be left. What do you think?
Myuto: What would you do if you fought!?
Miyachika: I would extremely regret it (laugh).
Myuto: Ahahaha. But the girl who would do that with you would be amazing. She would have the characters for “Kaito” on her stomach right?
Miyachika: Yeah (laugh). That way even if theres long distance between us, we’d be together! By the way, for this delusion, let’s go with that my girlfriend is a foreign supermodel.
Myuto: Then the tan would be a hindrance for her work.
Miyachika: She can cover it with foundation so it’s alright!
Myuto: That delusion is too overbearing! (laugh).
Kawashima Noeru x Yoshizawa Shizuya
Question 1: Speaking of the “summer ocean”?
Noeru: I’ve got a feeling that me and Shizuya are already the most furthest pair from “ocean”…
Shizuya: Ahaha! It’s true. When comes to mind when I hear ocean is… basically fish I guess.
Noeru: Me and Shizuya both have weak skin, so as much as possible we want to avoid direct sunlight right.
Shizuya: Yeah. And furthermore, I don’t really invite anyone to go out and do things.
Noeru: Me too! It’s not that I don’t want to go, but I don’t know how to invite people!
Shizuya: I get that (laugh). Well, I also like my alone time. But, if I was hanging out with Noeru, wouldn’t driving to a gymnasium be good?
Noeru: That’s good! I’m not very good at basketball, so I want Shizuya to teach me.
Shizuya: Basketball is an intellectual battle, so I think Noeru could become good at it because you’re smart.
Noeru: I’m happy~! Shizuya is always saying strict things, but sometimes you praise me like this, and it makes me happy.
Shizuya: I’ve praised you before this?
Noeru: I don’t remember (immediate reply).
Shizuya: You don’t even remember! (laugh)
Question 2: If you went to the ocean for a date with a girl?
Shizuya: I’d want to go to a pretty place by the ocean and go diving together.
Noeru: Nice! Last year, Hagiya (Keigo)-kun invited me thinking we could go diving. But, I wanted my first time to be wearing my own body suit, but by the time I saved up enough money to buy it, it was winter (laugh). This year I’ll challenge it though.
Shizuya: It would be good to see fish from in the ocean right. I want to see schools of pretty, colorful fish from up close. I also want to try riding a dolphin!
Noeru: That would be the best to have a date where you ride dolphins. But you know, when you dive under the water, wouldn’t you not want a marlin to come by and stab you?
Shizuya: No, I highly doubt that we would run into a marlin, so I think it’s okay (laugh).
