I saw "The Clone Wars" over the weekend. One of the characters is Jabba's uncle, Ziro. Though Jabba only seems to speak Hutt-ese, Ziro speaks... uhhh... whichever of the Republic tongue's that's understandable as English.
The actor that voiced Ziro must have conceived of the character as a cross between an eccentric, aloof Truman Capote and an outrageous, obnoxious Cartman, 'cause those were the two voices I heard coming out of Ziro's... ummm... mouth. Hopefully the clear distinction between them was intended, versus a single amalgam inspired by them. But really, having Ziro channel two other 'people' not related to the story was very distracting.
Btw, since the "Southpark" writers like to introduce and parody celebrities in their stories, have they ever thrown Capote into the mix?
