for years, I've been reading about the big bang, seeing the images, whatever... when did they start measuring length with time (sorry...just can't seem to come to grips with this :)

Common sense, good advice below from the Dalai Lama... London these days is a rainy wet soggy place...just busy studying Tibetan with a very good professor from Oxford, writing and working with a south London writer's group, reading more poetry and philosophy than I thought possible in earlier parts of my life, editing a Buddhist text, etc.... Every moment I see, each other person in all their shapes and sizes and attitudes. I cannot like one above the other, more or less. It is just what it is, and I feel a tenderness in these quiet times. I think a wounded heart is the only kind of heart, not hardened with judgement about what is.
