The critics have been completely mauling this film and I don’t really understand it.  Last I looked, it was at 30% on Rotten Tomatoes when it was so much better than e.g. Mockingjay 2 which is at 70% at Rotten Tomatoes.  Don’t get me wrong, I am a Hunger Games fan but Mockingjay 2 was a bit of a mess compared to the other movies and yet it managed ( Read more... )

I love Superman! I just watched Man of Steel tonight and loved it - it really felt like a Superman film. Wasn't a huge fan of Henry Cavill while he was in his hairy angsty Lost in Wilderness phase but as clean-shaven Superman, he was jaw-droppingly hot.

My brother is a very tough person to buy for because whatever he wants, he buys for himself. He likes personalised gifts i.e. gifts that are just for him. Gifts with thought and meaning. He doesn't like gift vouchers. For Christmas, the Canadian decided to make him a Superman Munny since he likes Superman :) ( Read more... )

I've mentioned before that I really like the Five for Fighting song 'It's not easy, which is all about Superman. I saw three excellent fan vids that used the same song very well. ( Wish that I could cry / Fall upon my knees / Find a way to lie / About a home I’ll never see )
