Superman Munny
My brother is a very tough person to buy for because whatever he wants, he buys for himself. He likes personalised gifts i.e. gifts that are just for him. Gifts with thought and meaning. He doesn't like gift vouchers. For Christmas, the Canadian decided to make him a Superman Munny since he likes Superman :)
Munnys - how they start out
Preliminary work with clay - some carving and shaping of the clay around hair and belt.
Curl, belt, nose and eyes
Then he carved the S and the boots out of clay
Taking shape - a bit of primer and the start of colour
Disembodied Superman! His cape was cut out of polystyrene and then 'melted into shape with a heat gun that made Elbie bark when he first heard it.
Painting finally finished
