More Chinglish signs

Aug 10, 2007 00:53

I posted a bunch of Chinglish signs yesterday. They updated them today and some of them are so funny.

方向 fāngxiàng does mean 'direction' but it really should read 'this way'

The words in question are 玩耍 wánshuǎ which means to play/have fun, the second word is 喧哗 xuānhuá which means hubbub/uproar |

A willage. How wuvley :)

The word 'civilised' is used a lot over here. Queue in a civilised fashion etc

主意安全 just means pay attention to safety

No loitering. Or 'Beware of giants on the highway' :D

Don't play in the water

*choke* I can't even begin to translate the Chinese for this one

A 油条 is a deep fried bread stick :)

signs, chinese, prc
