Movie trailers, sausages and my love of the public library continues

1. The trailer for Letters to Juliet has some gorgeous scenery but, as the Canadian points outs, proceeds to give away the entire storyline. What would be the point in watching the film now? Also, although I think Amanda Seyfried looked exquisite in Mamma Mia, in this film she returns to her original Veronica Mars look which is bug-eyed alien

I can't wait to hear your comments on The Forgotten Garden. Did you read Kate Morton's previous book called (I think) The Vanishing Fog? I thought it was excellent and really want to the read The Forgotten Garden. Kate Morton is also a local writer who did a PhD at my uni so I feel some crazy sense of kinship with her. ;-)

I giggled over your comments on Clash of the Titans! Good luck with the sausages - I find it's advisable to wear an old shirt and or an apron to avoid spoiling good clothes with sausage fat!

The sausages ended up being ok with not too much splatter at all! They didn't blacken, nor did they turn inside out. We were very pleasantly surprised.

I'm starting "The Forgotten Garden" today and will keep you posted :D
