An old story started coming to mind last night while I was reading before bed; some of you may have read pieces of my story called False Heir before, a number of chapters are on my very dusty Elfwood page. More importantly, some new ideas and twists to the story were coming to mind and this morning I've been looking at the folder for the files I have on it. I fleshed out a lot of that thing! A number of different elven races, geography of the continent, genealogy, specific magic spells, even some colloquialisms!
When I get back from 7th Sea today, I'm going to look back through my notes in more detail and the outline I started once upon a time for the story. It could use a lot of adjustment, as could the chapters that were already written. But it's cool to look back at it and remember how much work I'd already put into it. Hey, go me. :)
