I'm due to post for my writing group sometime this week, and luckily I have in fact been writing! Hurray for me. :) I actually now have two versions of the next piece of the story, but I'm liking the second one much better. Do you know of any good writing forums, good for getting advice, maybe feedback, discussing the craft/business, that sort of thing?

My first thought are the NaNo forums, but I know those aren't open all year round.

I completed these two in the last two days. A graphic novel isn't the same as reading a full book, I know that, but it is reading, and it is a form of a book, and it is a literary product and expression, so I'm putting it in here.

Hm. Holiday project due in under 12 hours. You would *think* that means I've finished but haha, oh no my friend! How wrong you would be!

So in Lantern Man, Bette (the main character, if I haven't named her on here before) is reading an account of the 'ghost story' behind the murderous ghost she's encountered in a booklet containing about five similar stories. I'm wondering now if it would be more effective to actually "reprint" (as it were) the story itself, or just have her recap ( Read more... )

So, this tree, which I'm now posting about for the 3rd time, is truly awesome. Although I did get our modem set up last night (after an hour on the phone with Comcast for help with my "self-install" kit), I didn't get much else done that I wanted to do.
