...... Why aren't we all out saving the world?
A school full of extra-normal, superhuman and gifted individuals... I think we could make a difference. I'm sure someone around here is good with a needle and thread. We could have them make some lycra/spandex outfits, maybe some with masks, maybe some with capes. And we could go and save kitties from trees and such things. Actually do something worthwhile.
We're studying for midterms.
We have these abilities and we are wasting them on school and tests and mathematical equations I will never use outside of the classroom and on histories and science that will only be important for the duration of my learning it and at no other time in my life.
I think we're missing our calling and wasting our talent here. This is a shame. I am very sad about this. What would Superman say if he knew we were sitting back and doing nothing when we could be out there, saving lives and kitty-cats and averting natural disasters and so on.
