The time has just flown since Yule and now it's Valentinemus already! I'm not sure how most Knittedhobbits celebrate Valmus, but
knittedfrodo, who incidentally still seems to be here, obviously has something in mind.
I decided it might be best not to enquire too closely and just get on with my own business of being worshipped and adored in my own Magnificent way.
As I was saying, the post was the usual fanmail and tributes for me, but
knittedpippin got a Box! He was very pleased to meet the Box as it had his name on it and everything!
I opened my mail, but strangely, it was unsigned! There was a card with a large paperheart, and a lot of little shiny hearts, which were very tasty.
There was also an anonymous gift of a Knittedheart. I can't think who would have sent it, but it might come in very useful if I should have a KnittedCoronaryThrombosis and need a transpant. So whoever you are Annoymous Doner, many thanks. Unless of course you are already departed and this is a posthumous donation.
In the meantime,
knittedpippin was getting on awfully well with his Box. He was hardly paying his dippy egg and soldiers any attention and only managed a measly three Weetabix!
In the end, I'm afraid I had to threaten to put the Box in the cupboard until he finished his second breakfast.
knittedpippin was very keen to see if his Box could swim well.
Although I suspected it was actually a bit nervous, so I suggested to
knittedpippin that he just let the Box watch for now.
Nevertheless, they soon became inseparable and the Box helped
knittedpippin to check his email…
…to do the dusting…
… and even joined in with his favourite job of counting the spoons. - {they never did get counted so we're still not sure.}
Then
knittedpippin took his Box to meet the Roses, who were very pleased to see both of them.
He even took the Box out shopping, in spite of the fact it had no cloak. Apparently it keeps quite warm with parcel tape and brown paper.
Then
knittedpippin took his Box, along with his hottie, up to bed.
knittedpippin was very happy. He's always wanted a Box of his very own and this is a very nice Box.
But just before
knittedpippin zzzzed off to bye byes, I thought I heard a strange noise coming from the Box! There must be something inside it!
Can you imagine our surprise? There was another Box inside the first Box - a WhiteBox!
knittedpippin was even more happy to get the nice WhiteBox and was just about to invent some new games for it, when I had a Magnificent Idea! What if there were something inside the WhiteBox?
Well,
knittedpippin opened the WhiteBox and inside that was a BigRedWhiteDuck and very nice card, which
knittedpippin mostly read on his own with only a little help from the BigRedWhiteDuck.
The card simply said, to "My Sweetest Little Pip". Ahem! Who's Little Pip? Anyway, it was v. nice, even if the sender is a little bit muddled about
knittedpippin ownership.
Of course, even though it was 6pm and well past
knittedpippin's bedtime, we had to go and introduce the BigRedWhiteDuck to the LittleYellowDuck and they got on famously, even though the BigRedWhiteDuck has got scary hearts painted all over it.
So Thank You to whosoever sent such nice pressies wherever you may be. And Thank You too to
moo58 and to
marigoldg for the delicious virtual choccies! Now all I have to do is remember where I left my choccie modem!
