Last weekend, I attended to the wedding of Brad Fuller & Jen Horwat. Meghan went with me, and adventures were had! The short version: We flew down to Baltimore Friday in time to grab dinner at the Wharf Rat with silberzauber, Leigh, Kris, and Steve. Then we headed to campus to see The Good Doctor, the first Barnstormers show I'd seen since Fall 2004's FOAs. ( Read more... )

I kind of really hate how I'm consistently 5-15 minutes late for everything. This morning I woke up at 9 (which felt oh so early), did some morning things but skipped breakfast or coffee, and still managed to be late to class. So I've arrived in Baltimore! I had a full day Thursday of the 110 midterm followed by dealing with its aftermath. The undergrads? They cannot follow directions. I'm sure I ranted about this last year, but it drives me up a wall when we tell them half a dozen times to mark Code K on their scantron with 0 for Exam A and 1 for Exam B, then people ( Read more... )

Weekend's off to a pretty solid start. I got home a little after 5 last night, with the bus actually dropping me off at my street. A very nice weekend has been had.

Thursday evening, I made [cheddar chicken corn chowder] which came out pretty nicely. It fed myself, KK, Mike, silberzauber, and Meghan, with just a smidge leftover for my lunch on Friday. The past two nights, I've fallen asleep before 11 PM. Last night, I was lying on the floor of the living room half-paying attention to Chappelle Show. Eventually I notice the drool and went to bed.
