Music & food

I spent a good part of the weekend rediscovering early-90s Phish, namely 1991-02-21, 1993-03-25, and 1994-06-11. I'd like to thank painaporo for providing me my first Phish back on ol' Pennynet. Hah! As a result of this, I've wondered about some of the people I met through the (online) Phish community. Like Jeremy Ferguson. Where is he now? I had a dream about him last night. Huh.

My embarassing moment of the weekend was hearing the Cure's "Close To Me" and thinking it was a cover. Oops. Let's never speak of it again.

The week ahead: Oz planning, B17 for real, some life changes, apple muffins, sesame noodles with shredded chicken, macaroni & cheese & kielbasa & mustard. The latter two are from Cook's Illustrated, which my mom gave me 23980432 issues of last weekend. I love them. Love love love.

Our wireless router may have bit the shitter yesterday. The power to the central wall of the house went out because Meg was vacuuming, and it somehow hasn't recovered from that. I've tried everything. What I can get it to do is pass through a signal from my laptop to the cable modem. My laptop is now pulling the IP that the router should be. The test light won't go off, the wireless signal never starts, you can't access the configuration pages. Bowlsheet... Netgear provides crap support for me, because I'm past the 90 day whatnot, their web site is forfeit, and the references docs they offer don't cover this situation at all. I kind of want to buy a new one just to save myself the hassle, but c'mon now. Wireless technology makes me very angry. Very. Angry.

Muffins time?
