Well hello stranger, it's been a long while since I've been here.

A lot has happened and it has been a big factor in my being absent, the world had changed and it took a long while to get used to the new "norm". I did not have much to talk about but I feel I might have a few things to talk about now. Just taking a few days to ease back into it.

Yes, it's been quite some time since I've been here.

It's like revisiting an old neighbourhood. I'm planning on blogging more but for the past several months it's been a hectic writer's block for some odd reason.

It's good to be back.

There's been some rumblings lately going on.

Rumblings of things upon the horizon, of things yet to come. Changes occurring as our youngest daughter sprouts her wings and leaves the nest since it's here turn to head off to college/university in the fall.

For the past couple of years I have been asked to do a Youtube video channel of some game play. And, if I were to do one it just might be a camera set up in the corner of the room and just focusing on the game table and a few people sitting around a dining table and rolling dice and me chugging coffee like there's no tomorrow. A few weeks back the Mrs. and I decided to have a night out, we were invited to play some darts. A friend of ours invited us to join a fun league, like "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" where the points really didn't matter and just toss some darts at a board for a couple of hours on a Tuesday night.

Basically, all I did was change a few minor details on the published adventure to give it more action and a little more horror here and there to give it that right Lovecraftian meets Tarantino feel to it.  Hopefully, I'll get a player or two at the table. We shall see.

Yesterday, was an interesting day that started off with the power going out in my home for a few hours. It was a planned outage but we weren't notified of the planned outage as Hydro One replaced poles and transformers a block over.
