We are back in NC. Still no luck on finding Kaskae. We have over 20 flyers just here on base. Tomorrow (payday, so I can fill up the tank) we are heading out AGAIN to the pound and all the vets in the near by area. We had a close call. Well, I got a phone call from Jon. :) He's good. They haven't made it into their dorms yet so they are still in the tents. I'm happy they have dorms now. Its going to be very cold there very soon. Jon said it was already getting chilly. He's never had a dorm before on a deployment, it has always been a tent, so its kinda cool ( Read more... )

Good news. Kaskae is starting to show signs of improvement. He actually drank on his own early this morning, and then ate about half of his food. :) He even had some energy to walk around the back yard today. :) I just checked on him again and he was eating some more food and his little smile is back. :) I could cry.

YAY!!!

I'm worried about our pup. I had to take him to the vets today. We think he has parvo. I'm devestated. They ran two different tests. Both came back negative, no worms, no parvo, yet he has blood in his poop, if you can call it that. Its more like dirty water. He's dehydrated. Won't eat, and has puke a couple of times.
