It was too cold and wet today to put anything up, but I did get most of the trim cut and pre-painted. The fancy plastic-composite trim boards do not take paint well; I may be in for a problem. But I'll worry about that when it gets here

Not done, mind. But they're both built, first-coat painted, and suitably adorned with drip edge, flashing, and ice&water shield. IOW, minimum acceptable weather-proof. I just finished. Yes, in the dark

Got a late and slow start today. I built the brackets for the second overhang, and got three of the four put up. The fourth is waiting on the one bit of pre-overhang trim, which is cut (I had to rip down a board lengthways, and splice two bits together to get it long enough) and sitting in the garage while the paint on the back-and-hard-to-reach-

Got the first overhang put up. I think it will look pretty good once I get the drip edge, shingles, etc. attached; these things hide a multitude of sins. For all that it looks a bit... haphazard... in its unfinished state, it also looks "right" for the house
