The Red Violin
Okay...if you haven't seen this movie, you should. It was amazing. The short version: it's about a perfect violin & it's journey through 5 different owners, culminating with an auction of it at the end. I must say, I wasn't expecting the movie to be in 5 different languages (English, Italian, German, French, & Chinese), but I think it totally added to the movie and made it that much better.
AND to top it all off, it featured Esa-Pekka Salonen conducting the Phil and Josh Bell as the violin soloist. How did I not know about this movie before?!
