Harry Potter version of We Didn't Start the Fire!

(LJ is being uncooperative and I can't post the movie directly in my journal... grr)

The visit in general was really fun, there were 12 little children ranging in age from 2 1/2 to almost 9.  They were so cute and nice and generally lovely.  And I had the best scones known to man at Cafe Latte.  Mmmmmmmm...

So before the show Breshaun gave us the whole 7/7/7, the stars are aligned, the date is great, everything's in our favor... and guess what?

It was.

So the people from Girl's Inc. were silly and didn't seem to want to be there, seeing as they didn't laugh at ANYTHING... well, except for Robbie slipping on the water in classic banana-peel style.  I'm sure it was horribly painful...but it was pretty funny.  I feel like such a bad person, but it's true ( Read more... )

Wow.  A lot has happened since I last posted.

We as the S.O. team got 15th in the nation with over half of us being freshmen.  We have some good times ahead of us, I think.  Even though they changed health science (grrrrrrrrr), I look forward to doing it next year, and I was extremely distraught today to find out that I no longer know some ( Read more... )

Science Olympiad today was really fun.  The sunshine was delightful, and may or may not have induced such ridiculous behavior as rolling down a hill by the side of the school, climbing trees, and putting dandelions in Dan's hair.  There was also strawberry and chocolate cheesecake.  And homestarrunner.com.  This practice renewed me for the studying ( Read more... )
