Let's do a positive entry for once!
Hi guys.
I've been posting sporadically over the last couple years, and looking back, almost every single post is stressed-out and negative. Well, THAT'S GONNA CHANGE!
I'm going to write about how my winter break was the best winter break EVER. I think that post shall happen in list form of the awesomeness.
-Science Olympiad practices. Happy parties with untouched resources sitting in front of us while we carried on.
-Finally getting lots done on It's About Time. YAY we're lame rather than epic-failing now!! Hooray!
-Hanging out with Dennis after missing him for a long time.
-Dennis's Europeans.
-ICE SKATING.
-The Runcible Spoon. (and gypsy chicken, which Georgi found very, very funny)
-The Laughing Planet.
-Knitting. (And teaching Timmy to knit)
-New Year's spent playing Taboo and Pictionary very loudly, eating lots of chips, pizza, and chocolate, and drinking various sugary beverages. And watching chick flicks.
-An awesome Christmas with amazing presents (including The Host in SPANISH!!! DEEE! And pretty sock needles!! And yarnyarnyarnyarnyarn! And a nice wool coat! Woooo!)
-Reading fun, non-school books. (Although we don't really read in Mrs. Frye's class anyway, so that's not as much of an issue as with last year...)
-Spore.
-Finally getting paid in my church job.
-Not being nagged to practice by my dear mother.
-Hanging out with Erika with decorating the Christmas tree and feeding cats.
-Relaxing and SLEEP.
-Driving practice. (Scary and stressful, but good.)
-Epic rematch of Cranium on New Year's Day with the Balewskis, then staying for amazing homemade pizza.
-Tons of lovely, crazy fun things of awesomeness.
YAY.
And this week, we had Monday off and then two 2-hour delays. No test over this U.S. history chapter. Tomorrow is a seminar day. This means we will only have had one normal school day this week. WIN!
So yeah, that's my life right now. I'm pretty cheerful. :)
