Помимо болота, на вершине есть "настоящий" лес, в основном из (не похожих на наши) дубов и литокарпусов.
Про некоторые ландшафты я в какой-то степени понимаю, что мне нужно было бы уметь, чтобы делать приличные снимки. Как про отдельное дерево в поле или тысячу одинаковых сосен. Но настоящий лес, хаос растений, из которых ни одно не составляет самостоятельного объекта съемки само по себе, и при этом они все разные, ставит меня в полный тупик.
Besides the bog, there is also real forest on the summit, mainly of oaks (Quercus and Lithocarpus).
With some landscapes I know what I should have known how to do to get a decent pictures. Like with a tree in a field or with a thousand identical pines. But with a real forest, a chaos of plants none of which is a subject per se, but all are different -- it's a puzzle that I really don't know where to start from.

Judging by the amount of the epiphytes on the branches of Doi Inthanon trees, one can tell that the place is wet in the rainy season.

Из орхидей на вершине есть разные виды, но я нашел только одно название Coelogyne nitida (и не уверен, что это именно этот вид).

Ну а чтобы посмотреть орхидеи в садовых условиях, недалеко от конторы парка в Королевской сельскохозяйственном проекте есть сад с крупноцветущими видами, к которым можно подойти вплотную и пофотографироваться рядом :)
Inside the park you can see also cultivated orchids, in the Ornamental Garden of the Royal Project near the Park Headquarters, with large-flowered species in a setting where you can come close and take a selfie :)
