Songkran in Pattaya, Thailand, 2015-04-18
Сегодня Сонгкран, традиционный тайский Новый год с поливанием водой, пришел в Паттаю. Мы с Эрикой (dzaidza) прошлись по Наклыа, где и разворачивались события. В Сонгкран происходят в основном две вещи: или вас поливают водой (в этом основная сила - семьи и компании в кузове пикапов с баками воды), или вам мажут лицо тальком (мелом? глиной? - ดินสอพอง) с водой со словами "С Новым годом" (это в основном пешеходы).
Самая аутентичная часть была в узкой улочке, где находится рынок Наклыа. По техническим причинам большая часть воды в объектив в кадр не попала. Просто снимки.
Today the Songkran, the traditional Thai new year water festival, reached Pattaya. I had a walk with Erika (dzaidza) to the Nakluea Road where the action was unfoling.
There are basically two things: or they pour water over you (here families and groups of friends on pickup trucks with water tanks are the main force), or they smear your face with chalk (talc? clay? - ดินสอพอง) saying "happy New Year!" (this comes mostly from the pedestrians).
The most authentic part was in the small streed where the Nakluea market is located.
For technical reasons I had to keep most of the water out of the camera, and thus out of the picture too. Just pictures.

К мероприятию привлекли также машину для мойки рынка, машину для поливки зеленых насаждений и пожарную команду.
They brought the market washing truck, the plant watering truck, and the fire brigade to make part of the fun.
