Actually, you know what it reminds me of? Back when I was solidly in X-Men fandom and wanted to read fic about Rogue. But I couldn't because it was all Gambit/Rogue stuff about how emo she was for him and how they both wanted to have babies. Later it was how she was all emo for Logan. Same story, different version. Some of those fic were good but mostly they weren't and why am I cursed to always like those characters?
BTW, here's a recipe for pineapple barbecue sauce (I'm making jerked ribs):
One can pineapple, any style.
One small onion.
2-4 cloves fresh garlic.
1/2 C White Wine or Vinegar
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1 C Ketchup
A dash of cloves, chili and pepper of choice.
Blend the first three into a puree, then put that in a pot, mix in the rest and simmer for a bit.
