Thus far

I've been doing pretty well in my getting back on track goal. Exercise is happening about 5 days a week, sometimes 6, but sometimes 4. I'm sure this will fluctuate as school gets busier. Food is probably my biggest issue. I have days where I eat so well, and then I eat a huge hunk of chocolate at 9:30 p.m. I guess it's just about moderation and finding what works for me. Or something.

I feel a little strange just taking 2 classes, but I think the copious amounts of reading will compensate for that feeling soon enough. I've already started looking for an article for one of my classes and the paper isn't even due for a couple of weeks (working on that procrastination thing as well).

I feel like I need to do something else with my time. I'm not sure what. But I need something during the day that will keep me out of trouble, so I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for ideas. Pool is going alright, but with my plan to take 2 classes this summer, I may have to take a season off. I also have been frustrated because I'm not really playing any better. I made the astute realization that of course I'm not, I never practice. I think I've actually realized this like 40 times, and then promptly just expect myself to miraculously get better. Oh lord.

I'm going to be an aunt again very very soon. I'm excited for the little guy to get here! It just sucks that they're so far away. I have to settle for sending little clothes and books and such.

This year I also am trying to get my health and wellness on track- saw a dr. and had a physical for the first time in ... awhile. Now I have to pay the bills. Not having insurance le sucks. But I guess it's a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things, and knowing what's actually happening internally is better than guessing. Balance is going pretty well too, overall.
