So much to journal, so little time to type!

I haven't updated Face to Face in ages! I have to get going on that soon -- maybe when school settles down. Yesterday my psych class found out, though NO ONE at Northeastern knew, that we had a 4-6 page report due at midnight yesterday. I finished it at about 8. However, that's an example of what disorganization can do to your life ( Read more... )

"These won't work if you steal them?"

Working on the assumption that Wicca is a sell-out, they won't work anyway. Working on the assumption that it's valid, they most certainly will. Either way, I agree with your BS detector.

I don't see why its existence should bother you, though. I mean, there are Christian stores, and just because I haven't seen any I'll still venture to say that I'd bet there are jewish stores. Why not pagan ones? Paganism is a valid religion whether it's appealing to someone or not.

And by the way, I love you. :D

Ah, yes, but I am Christian, and I do believe in demons trying to corrupt people. Paganism may be valid, i.e. there may be some truth to it, but I strongly don't agree with it.

There's one thing I don't think we'll ever agree on... but at least we still get along. ^_^

There is SUCH a total difference between Paganism as a religion and the kind of "Paganism"/"Wicca" that is marketed in flaky, New-Agey stores. Starting with the fact that neither religions have anything to do with magic"k".

I agree 100% with your BS monitor. It'd be funny if you stole them, but since that's "wrong", how about you steal the sign???? :-D

I think it depends on the person as to whether that's BS or not. Demons are intelligent, and they realize that sometimes it might be in their best interest to play off magick (at least at first) as being "white." In such a case, it would be in the demon's best interest to make it not work. However, if someone is curious and isn't sure if s/he believes in magick, there's a very good chance that the sign will end up being total BS.
