I haven't updated Face to Face in ages! I have to get going on that soon -- maybe when school settles down. Yesterday my psych class found out, though NO ONE at Northeastern knew, that we had a 4-6 page report due at midnight yesterday. I finished it at about 8. However, that's an example of what disorganization can do to your life.
Crystal and I have taken up biking. We bike everywhere, whether it's the mall or downtown. Yesterday we went downtown. On the way, I braked for a little white mutt, being the animal lover that I am, and it jumped up and slashed me with its claws. The skin on my leg is bruised, torn, and bloody. I asked its very apologetic owner if it had all its shots, and it does, so unfortunately I don't have to cut its head off for testing. I mean, um, fortunately, yeah.
It's official: Matt likes me. One of my friends asked him. However, being the decent guy he is, he told her he wouldn't ask me out since I have a boyfriend. Better than a lot of guys I've known.
We went downtown and I got asked out once and asked for my number twice. One of the guys was someone I knew back at Victory... heh, revenge of the nerds. Apparently I'm cute now. Wouldn't date him anyway, but still... satisfying.
Some friends at school told me about this candy store downtown, and we checked it out. It's amazing. Really cheap, and really good, with everything from fudge to cookies to popcorn to Gobstoppers to ice cream (.75 a scoop!) to fountain drinks. Verrry cool. We're going to try and have a get together of all our friends downtown or something, and go there.
The comic book store downtown is way cool too. When we walked in, they were watching Matrix: Reloaded. Yay! I know two of the regulars there, including the guy whose father owns the place, and Crystal wants to start going for some random game they play like D&D.
Which brings me to another interesting topic...
We now have an apothecary downtown. I knew we did, but apparently we have two. One sells all kind of magick stuff, from herbs and ritual candles to crystals and daggers (okay, the daggers are cool). Crystal likes it, but its mere existence bugs me. I found some of the same books I used to read in the mall when I was considering Wicca.
One of the signs read, "If you steal these, they will not work!! They will backfire with disastrous results!!" (and my BS monitor goes off). Now I want to steal them just to prove a point. Curse my morality.
Bah... it's bugging me, badly. Roz, David, Jesse -- any thoughts?
Especially Roz...
