I've got two pina coladas, one for each hand
For the first time since graduation, I actually spent my weekend with girlfriends! It was really nice to catch up with Sara, Tamar, and Christine on Friday. I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I saw them again!
Anyways… we went to Bahama Breeze for dinner - their house pina colada was amazing. My love of the ocean, tropical drinks, laying around, heat, and sun (AND high tolerance to the two latter) solidifies the fact that I’m really Caribbean on the inside.
Tonight I was able to hang out with Katie. We saw the Omen, which was better and creepier than I expected. I learned to 1) never listen to priests 2) always look up 3) never get a nanny.
My dad painted my room a very light aqua color today. I’m going for a “beachy oasis” feel, with colors of light aqua, blues, greens, sand, and white. I definitely don’t want a crappy beach “theme” with gaudy decorations and nautical or aquatic junk cluttering up my oasis. I do, however, want a light and airy beach feel. I have a very complicated feng shui.
My newest addition to my room is my Macbook! It came today, and I’m in love with it’s cuteness.
I’ve accomplished a few things on my arduous to-do list. I did learn to waltz, one room is re-done, I’ve run a bit, and saw Albion peeps! I have a wedding this Friday, and will be surfing in two weeks. I substituted the Lord of the Rings musical with Play!, a video game orchestra extravaganza, for Kevin’s birthday (yeah, we’re pretty sweet). With all the fun I'm having not using my brain, I'm a little hesitent to start the whole medical school thing...
