This is by far my favorite Dr costume. Mostly because of the ridiculously long scarf, but also out of nostalgia. Tom Baker was the first actor I saw play the Dr when I was little (on BBC re-runs) and my mum knitted me my own 4th Dr scarf back then because I thought it was the most awesome thing ever. The fabric has this awesome stitched line detail, and it's so light and comfy you could also wear this as a short scarf (proof of this behind the cut).

I don't own a male dressform, so I modelled it one of my female ones, which just proves that this kind of accessory looks fabulous on both men and women!

I knitted two things for St-Patrick's Day. A green cowl and a green scarf. The green cowl is out of proper 100% wool and was rather prickly. I didn't like the prickly (if I had to wear it an entire day I would go insane). I can't wear the scarf (which is 100% acrylic) because I have already lent that to Sam ( Read more... )

A while ago I made Bert a scarf out of black and grey yarn.
When I found the fantabulous humongeous skeins of electric purple at Veritas, I knitted myself a hat :)
