Shinto loves green

I knitted two things for St-Patrick's Day. A green cowl and a green scarf. The green cowl is out of proper 100% wool and was rather prickly. I didn't like the prickly (if I had to wear it an entire day I would go insane). I can't wear the scarf (which is 100% acrylic) because I have already lent that to Sam.
I washed the cowl, thinking it would reduce the sting. No such luck.
So yesterday I bought some green fleece, and made a nice green fleece scarf out of that.
I was cutting the fabric at Sam's (so I just had to sew bits together at home) and said: I wonder how long it'll last 'till Shinto comes to steal it.
Today, Shinto noticed there were some leftover bits (the side edges of the fabric) in the bin. Not being able to get to the scarf on my desk, he decided to top the bin and try to get the leftover bits, probably thinking it was better than nothing.
Of course I got him out and he looked at me all big eyed and then at the scarf and at me again.

I'm sure you can all guess the end of this tale, Shinto is now sitting happily on the green fleece scarf.
I hope he realises I'm going to be taking it along with me tomorrow, he can have it back on Thursday haha :)
He needs to learn how to share :)
