Subaru talks about three of his favorite things :)
関ジャニ∞ "MY FAVORITE"
Each one gives three of their favorite things. From liking work to liking meatballs (?), answers with abundant uniqueness appear one after another. We deliver a substantial talk such as recently-released DVD, solo activity, and work.
SUBARU
Tsukune - I love it ever since I was a kid. Even as I studied, I would only eat tsukune (laughs). But I don't like grilled chicken tsukune. I like eating it when
it's put inside a bamboo pipe, then dropped into a pot with a spatula or spoon. And the sound of it at first. Kinda like, "Tsukune is hot, isn't it?" [Tsukune, atsuku ne?] (laughs). If I get married and have kids in the future, whether boy or girl, I like to name them Tsukune. Shibutani Tsukune, that would be cute! And then if I raise a dog, that dog will also be "Tsukune". It's complicated, but that's how crazy I am about tsukune (laughs).
Kitsune (Fox)
- When you speak of animals, it's gotta be kitsune. Kitsune over tanuki (raccoon dog)! When you come across a tanuki, it strikes you off as friendly, but a kitsune seems aloof. I like that sense of aloofness and superiority of a kitsune. It's cool. In the olden days, people would often talk of a kitsune's deceitful image, but I think it's cool to have such image (laughs). Therefore, if I'm going to have children, I want to name the second one Kitsune. "Shibutani Kitsune". And if I raise a chihuahua, it will also be "Kitsune". That's how much I like it (laughs).
Tanuki - Lastly, it's tanuki! Because a tanuki is cute. When this animal approaches you, you'd think it's cute. Then if it becomes aloof, you'd think, "What the...?!" It's a perfect contradiction from the kitsune I talked about a while ago. Besides, if I keep a tanuki, people won't be asking much about it. But even so, it's major*! So it's good again. Because in actuality, it may not be possible to raise a tanuki, so in the future, having a tanuki statue in the house, keeping a fox, then eating tsukune, it's like a dream. Now I've decided (laughs).
Recent Events
- I bought a suit for the first time! It's for attending a wedding ceremony of our staff. So far I've only attended after-parties, but this is my first time to attend a ceremony. The rest of the members already have suits, I was the only one who didn't own one yet. So I went to the department store, saw various items, and decided which would fit nicely. I even bought matching shirt and tie. Then the countdown concert in Kyocera Dome has been made into a DVD! It's our first independent countdown concert so I want you to continuously enjoy it from start to finish.
* - Baru used "major". I'm not sure, but I'm thinking it could mean "big thing"? *bricks self*
I swear, Baru must had been high on crack while answering XDD I would be definitely amazed if he really names his future kids (and pets) Tsukune and Kitsune... but until then, I would say that he probably had just been sniffing on something (Yasu's nail polish, idk?) during the interview. Peace Babu! :Dv
I had to re-phrase some of the sentences to make more sense, so if you find any correction, please tell me. Thank you for reading :)
