1 large box vanilla instant pudding
4 cups cold milk
1 or 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

Have y'all tried this sourdough starter?  I just love it!  It's very versatile and you do NOT have to follow the very strict instructions about feeding it and giving it away.  I feed mine when I think about it--once a week usually--and nowhere near as much as they say.  Plus I bake with it any time I choose, because I like it sour--baking after you ( Read more... )

Giving this one a go:

3 1/2 ounces large pearl tapioca, approximately 1/2 cup
2 cups cold water
2 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 egg yolk
1/3 cup sugar
1 lemon, zested
Pinch salt

Place tapioca in a medium mixing bowl along with the water, cover, and let stand overnight.

Hey y'all, I've been experimenting with popsicles again! I like these a lot.  They're cheap, easy, and quick.

Fruit n Juice Bars

leftover canned pears
leftover canned pear syrup
leftover pineapple juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Mash canned pears to equal ½ cup; mix in 1 tsp lemon juice. Add pineapple juice to equal 2/3 cup. Add 1/3 cup pear syrup. Mix ( Read more... )

Fudge Brownies

½ big block chocolate cooking compound

250g margarine

Melt these together

Add to:

2 ½ cups sugar

8 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

Blend together. Add:

2 cups plain flour

½ cup cocoa

¼ cup walnuts

Bake at 190 degrees centigrade for 50 minutes

Icing

125g margarine (melted)

1 teaspoon vanilla
