365 Gay Sharks
Day 289, Word Count: 507
Theme: October; Jumping the Shark
This post is part of the 365 Gay Sharks project. If you would like to learn more about this project, click here to read more about it. :D

  1. If you have not signed up for
3_ships and you like threesomes, you should do that. Even if you don't want to sign up for that and you like threesomes, you should drop a prompt into the Cookie Jar, because someone might fill it and presents are always a good thing!
  2. I finished my mix for bandomreversebb! No I just have to edit my vocal performance thingit and I'll be all set to send that shit in. (Actually I need to finish the graphics for my mix, but it's mixed, which is the important thing. I agonized a lot over it.)
  3. That reminds me. I should remix some things that are lying around in my folders and give them proper covers so I can post them here. It'll be a rad time, because I was making these tiny, five-track eps for tumblr and they're great fun. Also I'm back in a graphics groove.
  4. The end of the year is full of things to do, and because I'm . . . . . . . I don't know, not quite in a good mindset right now, I've decided that in addition to doing NaNoWriMo, I'll record 5 hours of podfic for
remopodmo. This works out great for Reasons which will become clear at a later date, I think, but if I drop dead for a day at the end of November, I won't be surprised.
  5. Except I can't do that, because immediately following my brilliant, fun-filled November? It's Pornmas again! Luckily the first day can be pulled straight from my NaNo (that's the perk of having a novel set in a BDSM club, I guess) so it's only . . . 24 more days I have to worry about! (I'm sure there's some half-finished porn somewhere in my folders, though. That is a thing I seem to be in no short supply of.)
  6. I'm meant to be writing an essay on "Becoming American," but I have less than zero idea of what I want to write. I also have to write one on queer theory and one of three 19th century novels (Pride&Prejudice, Old Goriot, or Jane Eyre) and . . . Yeah, I got nothing. I know that for my final in 19th century lit I'm going to put together a presention on transformative works of either Pride&Prejudice or Jane Eyre, though. I'm only debating because Jane Eyre has Wide Sargasso Sea which has more historical significance, but Pride and Prejudice has a wider history of transformative works, I think?
  7. I'm really not cut out for research papers. I only want to write about things no one is interested in, like Twilight as actual literature and not pop culture. I don't give a shit about how Twilight fits into pop culture, I just want to write about how Stephanie Meyer uses the genre of "vampire novel" and certain tropes of Gothic Literature to create this amazing abomination of sparkle. Only you need sources for that kind of thing and no one talks about Twilight as literature, it's all about Twilight as a pop culture thing.
  8. Why is October almost over?
