On Sunday, I will find my box of pressed flowers. How do I know this? Because I needed it today, and looked for it frantically all morning. By Sunday, I'll have time to notice the box and I won't need it any more. That's when I'll see it.

I forget the name of the cosmic law that governs things like this, but that's what I'm operating with

The clock in my car is 2-4 minutes ahead. I don't care which. I just know that whatever time the clock says is currently in the future.

My husband says that setting a clock ahead is just fooling oneself into thinking one has more time than one really does.

He's missing all the fun.

Doing absurd things is fun.

Walk to work in the rain while playing with a yo-yo. Oh, and forget to make use of the umbrella you are carrying.

          Sometimes I get the feeling that I may well be the only person in my office with opposable thumbs.
