Aw, just look at my icon with Kurt and Blaine being all BFFs together.
Speaking of hate, don't you HATE when you get a brilliant idea for a story, that is not much of an idea for a story but something you'd love to see actually happening on the show? A scene/episode that would fix whatever problems you've got with the plot or characters? You start to plot all the details in your head, try keeping everyone IC, constantly change and adapt only to realize one moment that it will never happen. What is the probability of you imagining something and then it happening the way you wanted? Let's face it, the moment you come up with a scene, the probability of it happening drops down to zero. Even I, while constantly whining how my prompts are being stolen by Ryan The Trollmaister, mean general ideas, not exact scenes. [Except the one with The Kiss but come on, that was so obvious]
A couple of days ago I got an idea for a story that would fix Kurt - by breaking Blaine - and it would be EPIC! and FANTASTIC! and so GREAT! but the more I think about it, the more it's obvious none of it will happen. You know how they are rewriting the future episodes? I'm imagning this is the episode that was suppose to be there but because of the blainloving [insert obligatory haaaaaaaaaaate] it's been changed. See? I can be delusional not only about my ships. And before you scream "I saw that plot on Angst Meme" yeah, that was me.
Yet another Undead Plotbunny that clearly shows I should be writing episodes for Every Show Ever. And it has some slight, general spoilers to the rumored future episodes
- Superbowl episode. Blaine and Kurt spot Azimio heading towards the lockers. Blaine convinces Kurt (Kurt protests but Blaine does the entire /touch the shoulders/ /look deep into the eyes/ /"trust me, I've got your back this time"/ routine and Kurt caves in) to follow and face him
- Azimio is not happy and starts to really bully Kurt - I'm talking about grabbing him and repeatedly slamming him into the lockers. Kurts looks at Blaine expecting help but Blaine just stands there. Originally, he was suppose to run away but "frozen in fear" works better for this particular scenario
- Azimio is about to punch Kurt's face in, when SUDDENLY... Karofsky! drags him away, saying that Kurt is not worth being expelled for, they both run away
- Blaine tries to help Kurt up but Kurt angrily slaps his hand away, tells him not to touch him, calls him a coward. Blaine's face is all D: D: D:
- some Glee guys and girls walk into the changing room - saying they've seen Azimio and Karofsky and sensed trouble. Puck and Sam want to beat them up but Kurt stops them, agrees to go with Finn to tell his dad about what had happened because "his dad has never failed him" - clearly aimed at Blaine. They all walk away and Blaine just stays behind
- Azimio gets expelled, Karofksy doesn't due to Kurt admitting reluctantly that Karofsky was the one to drag Azimio away
- Blaine tries to explain himself to Kurt, Kurt angrily tells him to Eff Off, accuses him of being a coward again. When Blaine admits that he is, that he froze in fear, Kurt, feeling betrayed since Blaine told him he had his back, says that clearly, Blaine never cared about him, just abut himself, all the advices he gave him were aimed at "young Blaine" not Kurt. He doesn't allow Blaine to explain anything else, tells Blaine to leave (Blaine was staying at Hudmels)
- back at Dalton, Kurt rips Blaine's picture and "courage" and puts a new slogan: "be yourself" and a picture of his New Directions. Blaine approaches him again but Kurt tells him he quits the Warblers because he didn't and doesn't plan to FIT IN, that he WILL raise his hands when he sings his TRYING TO HARD show tunes - throwing back into Blaine's face every advice Blaine has ever given him. He teels Blaine to leave him alone
- since explaining stuff doesn't work, Blaine attempts to apologize to Kurt by singing with Tha Warblers at him in the GAP (Kurt is there with his friends) but this time, it doesn't work well, Kurt is angry, runs away
--now this is where it kind of gets less show-y and more fanfic-y; someone follows Kurt and talks to him. On the show it would probably be Mercedes or Sam the Straight Ally (I love straight allies) but I choose Puck. Why Puck? Because we need to have some scenes with them, and it actually fits into this one scenario.
- Kurt is furious, in tears, when Puck tries to talk to him he is surprised that Puck cares since he never did. Puck tells him he's "his boy" but Kurt doesn't buy it. Puck tries again, says he's surprised that Kurt would act like that, since he seems to be in love with Blaine, Kurt tells him he's not in love with Blaine anymore because the guy he was in love with, doesn't exist - he tells him how Blaine froze
- Puck, in one of those rare moments of brilliance, shares with Kurt his Juvie story, tells him how scared he was, still is, that if he ever met one of those guys he would run
- Kurt once again assures that it's not that Blaine didn't react, that it's because he made Kurt believe many times that he WOULD HAVE reacted, that he's not only a coward but above all a liar. Once again, it boils down to trust; Kurt trusted Blaine in a way he trusted no one before and Blaine failed him. Puck convinces Kurt to give Blaine a chance and listen to his part of the story
- Kurt and Blaine talk, Blaine admits that he really wanted to help Kurt because it seemed that on one else wanted to, that he saw the way Kurt looked up to him and didn't want to fail him - and took it too far. He's no mentor, he's just some guy who happens to went through he same stuff. Kurt admits that he doesn't feel good at Dalton, he suffocates, he feels restricted in every way possible but as long as Karofsky is at McKinley, he can't go back. There's no kiss or other nonsense because there's no crush on either side (anymore). They need to work on their REAL friendship, with both of them being true to themselves and true to each other.
...and it ALL actually ends with Puck(or Sam, ok, I'm fine with Sam)/Kurt and Blaine/Karofsky, because that's the only endgame I can accept
