Tobe, Gundam!
*yawn* Just got back on the overnight flight from Oregon. Got a few hours sleep, anyway. Now attempting to be coherent enough for work. But meanwhile, a few bullet-pointed hilights from vacation. (No promises on if/when I'll manage to catch up reading the last 1.5 weeks of friends' posts.)
- Yay, xmas break. Fun over all. Yay for lots of time with akiko.
- Attempted skiing for first time in a decade. It rained. Went skiing anyway, dangit.
- Sucked akiko into learning to ski despite initial skepticism. She kinda liked it. Mwahaha.
- Meanwhile, she sucked me into kinda liking new long-ass Gundam serieses. We watched all of Seed and the first season of Destiny. Guess I'll have to watch the rest now.
- We also saw Narnia and Brokeback Mountain. Both pretty good.
- I bought my little brother a Manly Mug.
- We made yummy chocolate bread pudding.
- Due to remarkable series of coincidences, got a ride back to the airport from Andy olstad, who I hadn't seen since undergrad. Thanks!
- I made money in Vegas.*
- I'm probably forgetting other interesting things, but yeah, on 3 hours' sleep here. -_-
*At a $.25 slot machine in the airport. Put in $1, played all four credits, cashed out $1.25. Whee.
