Aw, man, dude, they're making a movie of The Spiderwick Chronicles.
Call me a dork for liking a series that's technically for younger kids, but, whatever. <3
Also, if anyone's looking for something to read once they've finished HP7, I greatly recommend A Great And Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray and The Good Fairies of New York by Martin Miller.
EDIT: Also, for any aggie dorks, I read in the newspaper (well, technically Monie read it aloud, and she's a bit out there and an exit away from being nigh senile/blind/crazy) that Mr. Dolan and Mr. Vercellone got bumped up to administration. For the record, those two are awesome teachers: Mr. V is so awesomely snarky and sarcastic, and Mr. Dolan decided to amuse us one afternoon by eating a lump of carbon (and promptly spitting it back out when we told him it was made with sulfuric acid. There was a rumor going around the school that Mr. Barbos had stormed in to perform the heimlich maneuver and then CPR, after that class), not to mention the Dolans have the most adorable little girls ever. I'm not much of a fan of kids, but they could ask me for a pony and they'd have it in minutes it also helps that there are horses on campus.
Dolan is now Vice Principal and Vercellone is part of some Community program of sorts, to tell parents and students about the academic parts of the school being as good as the ag.
