Happy 4th of July Everyone~Nodame's Finale
It's great to live in Phila for this holiday it is so appropriate. I don't think I will be able to see Fireworks this year because I am going to have to leave the city early so I will be able to catch a bus home but I am still going for a BBQ. XD

And Nodame Cantabile is over. :( It seems like I just started watching it yesterday. I didn't like the anime as much as the live action (which I highly recommend) but it was still a good adaption for the most part. And the last scene with Chiaki and Nodame still made me feel all happy inside in the anime. :D
And the US is releasing the first part of the Paris arc at the end of this month so I guess I will still get to continue the story. It's too bad it won't be animated.
Now I just hope that the anime will do something similar to Honey and Clover and animate the Kotatsu scene as an extra chapter on the DVDs. That was my favorite scene (besides the ending scene) in the manga and live action and they didn't animate it. :(
Finally I think one of Nodame's greatest strengths is it is not just a romance story which can get kind of old with the "when will they get together" but also the story of the development of young musicians. And I think this is what raises Nodame Cantabile above a lot of other romantic stories.
Oh and I got a S-oke shirt to wear to Otakon so that should be fun. XD
