More Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Stuff

So with the whole second season things announcement almost coming I decided to read Snow Mountain Syndrome since a lot of people seem to think that will be one of the chapters animated. It makes sense since it is one of the best short stories in the novel. It also features Itsuki a lot which I like.

Anyways I think the second series should cover

Novel 4- The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya- Main Storyline (Come on this book is great)
Novel 3- Bamboo Rhapsody~This is a necessity
Novel 2- Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya (althouugh just as one or two episodes to tie things up that weren't covered in the first season)
Novel 5- Snow Mountain Syndrome- Great Side Story
Novel 5- Pieces of Eight- I still need to read this but I figure they might as well finish Novel 5

I think this is a good amount but they could also cover some of the side stories from Novel 6 (which I also still need to read). They already covered Live Alive.

Edit: Also I've always been wondering who was Itsuki going to bring for the baseball game in the Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya. Itsuki volunteers to bring someone but Kyon brings his little sister instead.

And now that I've been rewatching the first season I realizes Haruhi mentioned Sliders. Kyon mentions this again in the 5th chronological episode. But so far there we have no seen any as far as I know. I wonder if they will ever show up.
