Gurren-Lagann
So suddenly I hear about this show everywhere and I finally decided to watch it.
Luckily I was prepared for episode 8 ahead of time but man did I still cry. :(
Although this show had sort of a slow start and the fanservice is ugh I have to admit this is a really fun show and I really love the characters.
I am a little worried though this being Gainax. I haven't seen much by Gainax but with the exception of FLCL (which was only 6 episodes and not much of a plot) I've been pretty disappointed in everything I have seen. They have a track record of starting out well and then falling in the second half even worse than Gonzo I think. Though they are working on this with others so maybe that will make the difference. So Gainax I am giving you a chance. Please do not disappoint me. And please do not kill Viral!
And why I decided to watch this show after the license announcement I am not sure but I am not that worried about fansubs. It's too popular not to get subbed.
Edit: Oh Simon in episode 11 that was a great scene!!!!!!!!!
