End of Year Fandom Meme
So I finally saw The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and absolutely adored it (of course it is my favorite novel). Now this is why I loved this franchise. I also liked that it was cold and everyone was sick (really fit my mood, although I am feeling better)
But that isn't what this post is about:
1. Your main fandom of the year: Really it's been pretty dry when it came to new fandoms. I would say I am focused on all the ones I was last year: Fullmetal Alchemist, Classic Film, Hogan's Heroes, Match Game, and a dash of Anime/Manga (the only new one in that regard was Cross Game but that started in 2009)
2. Your favorite Film this year: I saw a lot of films this year so I will just stick to what I saw in the theaters and that was Toy Story 3 and Restored Metropolis
3. Your favorite Book read this year: I have a 3 way tie (all of which I mentioned previously). I plan to do a full book post later on.

2)Conversations with the Great Moviemakers of Hollywood's Golden Age edited by George Stevens, Jr.
3) The Wind Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami
4. Your favorite Album or Song this year: I didn't buy any album this year. I think a favorite song I discovered was Frank Sinatra singing Brahm's Lullaby
5. Your favorite TV Show this year: Besides Match Game....well I enjoyed both the BBC Sherlock and the 11th Doctor's run.
6. Your favorite LJ Community this year: I didn't really join any notable communities. Actually LJ has been rather slow for me. :(
7. Your best new Fandom Discovery of the Year? As I said above I didn't discover any major new fandoms. It's been pretty dry discovery wise.
8. Your biggest Fandom Disappointment of the Year? Well I just learned that GSN is going back to Match Game 1974 and not showing the rest of 1975. I have been extremely depressed about this.
9. Your TV Boyfriend of the year: Well since it is TV if I am being honest probably Richard Dawson on Match Game. *Blush*

10. Your TV Girlfriend of the year: Betty White on Match Game.
Fandom would be Winry and May
11. Your biggest Squee moment of the year? Well it was also my biggest sob moment of the year, the last Chapter of FMA. It made me so happy that it was so perfect and so sad that it was over. Most satisfying series I have ever followed. ♥
12. Your most Missed Old Fandom? Well I miss anticipating the new FMA chapter every month.
13. Your Fandom that you haven't Tried Yet, but want to? Well it's not exactly a new fandom but I do want to see The Borrower Arrietty Ghibli Film. Otherwise I have no idea how to answer this. No one on my FL is really squeeing about any new fandoms either.
12. Your Biggest Anticipations of the New Year? Avatar: the Legend of Korra, More Doctor Who (Christmas Special), More Sherlock, Upcoming Films on TCM (especially the month of March).
