The Hobbit Film
Double posting because I just heard Martin Freeman is signed to play Bilbo in The Hobbit. How on earth did I not know that. I think that is perfect casting.
Also Richard Armitage is cast as Thorin. That I can't entirely see but I think he is a very capable actor so I am definitely interested to see how he pulls the role off.
Wow now I am suddenly very excited for these films. Although I know it's a money thing that they are making it 2 movies (The Hobbit is not that long if they could do each of the LOTR books as one movie...) I guess they will be able to fit much more into the films.
Now I will definitely have to read the book again. I should also finally read this which I have been meaning to read for awhile (I am one of those Tolkien nerds who loves the Middle Earth history/mythology books).
